This 5-ingredient lasagna is the ultimate weeknight dinner. Made with simple pantry staples, it’s cheesy, satisfying, and surprisingly easy to prep!

Ingredients

  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups tomato basil sauce
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup cooked ground beef (or sautéed spinach)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.

3. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 of ricotta, 1/3 of beef or spinach, sauce, and mozzarella.

4. Repeat layers twice more.

5. Finish with remaining sauce and mozzarella.

6. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until bubbly and golden.

7. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use cottage cheese instead of ricotta if desired.
  • To freeze: assemble and wrap tightly in foil before baking. Bake from frozen, adding 10–15 minutes.
  • Make it vegetarian by swapping beef for sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
