Air Fryer Chicken Thighs: Crispy, Juicy & Ready in 20 Minutes

These air fryer chicken thighs are the ultimate easy dinner. With a simple spice rub and 20 minutes of cooking time, you get crispy skin and juicy meat every time. Keto-friendly and low-carb.

4 Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1 tbsp Olive oil (or avocado oil)

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Onion powder

1 tsp Smoked paprika

1/2 tsp Dried oregano

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels.

2. In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.

3. Rub olive oil over the chicken, then coat generously with the spice mix.

4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

5. Place chicken in the basket skin-side down. Cook for 10 minutes.

6. Flip the chicken skin-side up and cook for another 8-10 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F (75°C).

7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

**Crispiness Tip:** Ensure the skin is very dry before adding oil.

**Storage:** Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.

**Reheating:** Air fry at 350°F for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.

**Frozen:** If cooking from frozen, add 5-10 minutes to cooking time.
