5 cans (14.5 oz each) whole green beans, drained

12 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and chopped

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.

2. Spread drained green beans in the dish.

3. Cook bacon until crispy and chop into pieces.

4. Whisk melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and spices in a bowl.

5. Pour glaze over beans and top with bacon.

6. Bake for 35 minutes until bubbling.

Notes

Use tamari for a gluten-free version. Can be made 24 hours in advance and refrigerated before baking.
